The (belated) end of an era A year behind the hype, I finally finished Season 5 of "Queer as Folk." So sad. For how great every other episode of QAF was, the finale left something to be desired. Not that it wasn't well-made -- because it was-- but I hate the way finales try to wrap things up in 50 minutes or less. At least give me an hour and a half. Then maybe things have time to progress to a point where when Justin moves to NYC, it isn't the end of him and Brian. And what about Emmett? He meets some dude from Hazelhurst, and then what?
There were some parts that were traditional QAF, but overall, I'm left underwhelmed and overly disappointed.
And that says a lot, considering how obsessed with watching the series I was this summer.
Oh well. All good shows must come to an end.
